Regional Health & Safety Manager (Germany)

As a Regional Health and Safety Manager (Germany) , you will be responsible for supporting and guiding the David Lloyd Clubs operating in Germany on all matters relating to health and safety & fire safety whilst ensuring that all health and safety policies and procedures are understood, implemented, and followed. The successful applicant will execute the company H&S strategy aligned to business objectives and corporate standards whilst maintaining compliance with German safety standards and regulations.

This role requires travel to all David Lloyd Clubs in Germany and occasional travel to David Lloyd Clubs in other European locations.

About you:

• Have relevant professional qualifications in the field of health and safety
• Have experience in;
• Implementing safety procedures and policies in accordance with German safety regulations
• Promoting a positive safety culture through engagement training and communicationAccident investigation and root cause analysis
• Conducting safety inspections and setting corrective actions
• Staff safety training and inductions
• Be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of German safety legislation including DGUV regulations
• Experience in a complex multinational role
• Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken)
