Position: Regional IT/OT Security Coordinator EMEA – Automotive Business

Location: Major SKF Automotive factory in EMEA (Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, UK sites). Employment: Full‑time, local contract. Seniority: Mid‑Senior level.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the operational link between the Global CISO office and local sites, translating global security standards into practical solutions across a portfolio of manufacturing plants.
• Coordinate network segmentation, vendor access, vulnerability management, patching, backup strategies, and OT‑specific security activities.
• Support audits such as TISAX, customer assessments and internal reviews; maintain accurate OT security evidence packs.
• Assist incident response, provide OT context to SOC, ensure lessons learned are integrated into playbooks and standards.
• Collaborate with IT, OT and network teams on Purdue‑aligned zoning, firewall rules, remote and vendor access solutions.
• Oversee OT vulnerability management, patching, backup, recovery and regular restore testing.
• Engage stakeholders across the organisation, promote IT/OT security awareness, and serve as a feedback channel to the CISO office.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience in information security, OT security or industrial networking, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Good understanding of OT architectures and technologies such as PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, industrial networks and common protocols.
• Experience applying security standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001 or TISAX in operational environments.
• Willingness to travel around the main factory sites in Europe.
