Regional Proposal Manager & Team Lead (f/m/d)

Overview

As Regional Proposal Manager & Team Lead, you will act as both strategic leader and hands-on coordinator, ensuring our proposal processes run smoothly and efficiently across regions. You will inspire collaboration, foster accountability, and continuously raise the bar for excellence in every submission.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Proposal Management team across Europe, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the evaluation of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs to ensure requirements are met and exceeded for competitive proposals.
• Drive quality and consistency across all proposal deliverables, ensuring submissions are timely, accurate, and aligned with customer expectations.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between departments such as Marketing, IT, Product, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Ensure process compliance with internal proposal management standards and guidelines.
• Implement and optimize proposal management tools and systems, including content management and automation platforms.
• Act as a mentor and coach to team members, sharing best practices and fostering professional growth.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience, ideally in proposal or bid management within an international environment.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 1 year in the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Solid understanding of global forwarding, customer markets, and freight services.
• Basic financial acumen and strong business sense.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
