Regulatory Compliance Specialist Enteral Nutrition (m/f/d)

Your main tasks:

• Regulatory assessment of raw materials, recipes and nutrient profiles
• Creation and updating of regulatory documentation (e.g. list of ingredients, nutrition information, raw material information)
• Review and approval of labels and communication materials in accordance with EU food law
• Participation in project teams on new developments and product changes
• Regulatory analysis and impact assessment of changes concerning raw materials, recipes and labelling
• Coordination of orders and requests (such as legal opinions and labelling assessments) and analysing the outcomes
• Support in handling official objections or inquiries

Your profile:

• University degree in the field of food law or food science
• At least 4 years of professional experience in the regulatory environment of the food industry, first experience with foods for special medical purposes is a plus
• Profound knowledge of German and European food law particularly regarding the composition, labelling, presentation and advertising of foods for specific groups
• Knowledge of Codex Alimentarius standards is an advantage
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, German is a plus
• Excellent IT user skills (Office 365) and confident handling of databases/ document management systems
• Strong comprehension skills and analytical thinking
• Precise and thorough work, even under time pressure
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
• High level of quality awareness
• Good communication and presentation skills
