Let’s connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance and Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Reinsurance Accountant Obligatory Reinsurance Business .

You can look forward to

• Processing statements of account and technical scrutiny
• Processing losses in obligatory inward business from France, the Benelux countries and Greece
• Quarterly closing activities
• Processing incoming and outgoing payments
• Correspondence and reconciliation with internal interfaces and external customers
• Electronic archiving of documents
• Participation in working groups and projects with a focus on digitisation

You come equipped with

• Initial experience in accounting (e.g. from the areas of insurance, banking, taxes)
• Degree in business administration or commercial training
• Knowledge of reinsurance treaty types and forms is an advantage
• Curious to get to know various IT landscapes
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• SAP skills are an advantage
• Independent user skills in German and English, knowledge of French desirable
• Very good numerical reasoning and analytical mindset as well as an independent and self-reliant style of working
• An assured and service-minded approach to internal and external customers
