Role

The role is responsible for developing and managing HNWI and UHNWI relationships across Germany, Switzerland and Austria, primarily through private banks, wealth managers, family offices and independent advisors.

The successful candidate will drive fundraising for private debt strategies and act as a key interface between investors and the investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a commercial strategy targeting HNWIs and UHNWI clients in German‑speaking countries
  • Build and maintain relationships with:
  • Private banks
  • External asset managers (EAMs)
  • Multi‑family offices
  • Independent wealth advisors
  • Lead fundraising initiatives for private debt and alternative credit products (closed‑end and/or evergreen structures)
  • Identify new distribution partnerships and channels in the private wealth space

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HNWI clients and intermediaries
  • Conduct investor meetings, roadshows, due diligence sessions and onboarding discussions
  • Provide ongoing client coverage, including performance updates and product explanations, in coordination with Internal Sales, IR and Portfolio teams
  • Ensure high standards of client servicing and responsiveness

Product & Internal Coordination

  • Present investment strategies clearly to sophisticated private wealth investors
  • Work closely with Investment, IR, Legal/Compliance and Product teams
  • Support adaptation of products and documentation to private wealth distribution constraints where relevant

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure distribution activities comply with local regulations and internal compliance framework
  • Work closely with Compliance and Communication on marketing materials and onboarding processes

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in:
  • Private banking
  • Proven fundraising track record with HNWI/UHNWI clients in German‑speaking markets
  • Strong familiarity with:
  • Alternative investment structures specific to the DACH market
  • Existing network among private banks, EAMs or family offices is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial mindset with relationship‑driven approach
  • Ability to explain complex investment strategies clearly and credibly
  • Strong foundations of technical skills related to alternative assets:
  • Marketing (PPMs, DDQs),
  • Legal (LPAs & understating of local tax structures)
  • Proficiency with drafting clear commercial PowerPoint presentations and Excel
  • CRM Management
  • Autonomous, proactive and highly organized
  • Comfortable operating in a regulated environment
  • Long‑term relationship focus rather than transactional sales

Language Requirements

  • Native or fluent German (mandatory)
  • Additional languages (French, Italian) are a plus
