Description

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Area Manager:in, you will coordinate the elements that make our work environment supportive and efficient. You will lead and oversee a team of technical professionals responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our equipment.

A day in the life

You will work at one of our operational sites, providing practical guidance to your team and maintaining a clear overview of all activities. This includes data collection and problem-solving in a dynamic environment. You will also create operational plans to enhance productivity and efficiency, and introduce new projects to optimize processes and equipment maintenance. Safety is paramount, and a key aspect of this role is managing your team’s performance and development, including organizing additional training sessions.

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field
• Experience working in maintenance teams within industrial or production environments involving complex processes
• Experience managing technical staff
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including with third-party vendors
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of legal regulations, compliance audits, and safety protocols for machinery
• Experience with automated equipment, including packaging machines, sorting, and conveyor systems
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems
• Background in project management or methodologies like Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
