Location: Leipzig, Germany (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

My client is hiring a Linux System Engineer to support and scale modern infrastructure systems in a high‑performance, international team. You’ll combine hands‑on Linux system administration with cutting‑edge DevOps practices, helping to build and automate a robust and secure environment for our applications and services.

This is a hybrid role based in Leipzig, Germany, with a strong focus on ownership, collaboration, and long‑term impact.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and develop server infrastructure (physical servers & ESXi)
• Maintain and expand monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Configure and administer databases (primarily MySQL)
• Develop and maintain self‑hosted Kubernetes clusters
• Automate recurring processes using Ansible and scripting
• Support developers through DevOps/SRE practices
• Collaborate with the security team to implement protective measures

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or equivalent training in Computer Science or related field
• Deep experience with Linux
• Proficiency in Docker, networking, and monitoring tools
• Experience with automation/configuration tools (e.g., Ansible)
