Responsibilities

Supporting maintenance execution in the service shop including inspection and disposition of components.
Dispositioning activities, ensuring the latest shop practices have been followed, reporting outstanding recurrent findings (Leading indicators) to the repair engineering teams.
Supporting operational targets such as the Turn Around Time.
Supporting risk‑based evaluation and risk‑based mitigation action definitions.
Preparing technical documentation supporting internal reviews of the project, being accountable for the applicable action items.
Leading technical investigations and Root Cause Analysis activities on gas turbine components.
Supporting development of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, and industrialization related program deliverables to repair facilities.
Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
In‑depth working experience in a turbo machinery service shop.
Previous, relevant experience working on Aero/Aviation Derivative Gas Turbines.
Previous experience developing and managing technical investigations.
