Position: Bioregional Architect / Designer (part-time, 70%)

Role Overview
- Contribute to material-focused teaching in Bachelor and Master programs (design studios, seminars, practice-based formats).
- Lead key dissemination formats such as international publications, conferences and exhibitions.
- Develop spatial design for demonstrators, prototypes and material-driven architectural applications.
- Help further develop the professorship (e.g., Bioregional Design Lab, Material Library).
- Support organizational and communication tasks in teaching.
- Collaborate closely with the research team in regenerative design (material cultures, regional value chains, demonstrators, design development).
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Architecture, Design or a related field.
- At least two years of professional or academic experience.
- Experience leading teaching formats (workshops, seminars, design studios).
- Motivation and confidence to guide curious architecture and design students.
- Initial dissemination experience (exhibitions, events, publications) and first editorial or curatorial experience.
- Knowledge of regenerative materials and their application in the built environment.
- Independent work capability in an academic context, combined with team orientation and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Experience in practice-based research and/or interdisciplinary project teams.
- Interest in regenerative design and experimental/transdisciplinary approaches.
- Strong design skills in project development and communication of results.
- Experience in architectural or spatial design within research or practice contexts.
- First experience in prototype construction, mock-ups or pilot-scale design tests.
- Excellent project management and team coordination skills.
- Proven ability to engage with community stakeholders and incorporate feedback into design processes.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
