CLICCS is an ambitious research program at University of Hamburg and its partner institutions. Funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), it is part of Germany's Excellence Strategy. The position is part of the project 'Climate Policy Formation: Predictions, Preferences and Politics' (CLICCS S4). The project uses randomized controlled trials with panels of households and municipalities as well as large language models and automated text analysis to identify the causal effects of climate-related knowledge actionable for individual and municipal decision making on citizens' preferences and the policy-making process via public debates and electoral politics.
