The Wireless Connectivity group is developing a secure and dependable architecture for the Internet of Things (IoT) using Physical Layer Security.

We are looking for a Research Associate for Physical Layer Security (m/f/d) to pursue our research agenda creatively. You will investigate new Physical-Layer Security techniques and protocols through theoretical work, computer simulations, and hardware demonstrations.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop physical-layer security techniques and protocols
• Conduct computer simulations to investigate proposed techniques
• Support the development of hardware demonstrators
• Contribute to writing research publications and project reports

Your Profile

• Above-average MSc/Diploma or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related fields from renowned universities
• Good communication and writing skills in English
• Collaborative personality with excellent social skills
• Proficiency in programming, preferably in Python
• Knowledge of wireless communications and information theory
• Understanding of security protocols and architecture
