Institute for Autonomous Cyber-Physical Systems (ACPS) at Hamburg University of Technology invites applications for a position focused on semi‑independent teaching and research in programming and software development.

YOUR TASKS

• Independent planning, implementation, and further development of the modules "Programming Paradigms" and "Software Practicum".
• Acquisition and execution of research projects in the field of applied, innovative programming and software development concepts.
• Implementation and development of innovative teaching and learning concepts as well as tools.
• Supervision of student theses.

YOUR PROFILE

Requirements

• Completed doctorate in the subject of Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Required Knowledge And Personal Skills

• Excellent teaching competencies in programming paradigms (especially C/C++, Python, Java).
• Proven teaching records in software development techniques and tools (e.g., agile methods, scrum).
• Practical experience with version control tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines, etc.).
• Strong teamwork skills and empathy.
