As a PhD student at the Institute for Power Electronic Devices, you will explore novel frameworks for investigating and predicting the reliability of power semiconductor devices (including Si, SiC, and GaN).
Your work will include establishing and extending reliability models based on literature and experimental data, implementing simulation frameworks, and integrating ML-based methods for parameter identification. In close collaboration with academic and industrial partners, you will progressively refine models, validate them with available data, and integrate your results into innovative concepts for reliability improvement at the device level.
