Scope: full‑time, maximum three years

The Institute of Process Systems Engineering pursues research on process intensification by developing innovative model‑based design and optimization approaches and integrating them with experimental research. The interdisciplinary activities are often conducted in collaboration բանակց academic and industrial partners, focusing on innovative process concepts for energy‑efficient, (bio)reactive and hybrid processes. The goal is to develop resource‑, energy‑ and cost‑efficient processes for sustainable production in the chemical and biochemical industry.

YOUR TASKS

• Process modeling and optimization
• Project management and teaching activities, including supervision of student theses
• Support of ongoing research projects and acquisition of new projects
• Writing of scientific publications and presentations
• Possible experimental validation

YOUR PROFILE

Requirements

• Completed scientific university studies (Master’s degree), in particularatar Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Computational Engineering Science, or similar

Desired knowledge and personal skills

• Knowledge in multi‑phase thermodynamics, fluid separations, and reaction engineering
• Experience in process modeling and optimization, especially model‑based design or applied optimization
• Interest in scientific work, self‑motivation and performance orientation
• Ability to communicate and work in a team and to work hrá independently and responsibly
