A research fellow position is available in Professor Dr Christian

Sohler's working group for candidates working on areas of algorithms

and data structures. The successful applicant will work towards a

doctorate as part of the position.

YOUR TASKS

» organize practical training for courses, teaching support, con-
ducting courses (totaling 4 SWS)

» contribute to the general research conducted in the working

group

» present and publish research results at conferences and in

journals

» provide assistance with scientific self-administration

YOUR PROFILE

» Degree in computer science, mathematics, or a closely related

subject with excellent grades

» extensive knowledge in the field of development and theoretical

analysis of algorithms and data structures, as demonstrated by

corresponding grades or scientific publications

» very good oral and written communication skills in English
» desirable: very good German language skills
» desirable: proficiency in C/C++ or Python

German public sector.
