Research Position (m/f/d) – ID: Wiss25477

Start: – Part‑time 65 % – Salary: Remuneration level 13 TV‑L – Fixed‑term (3 years).

Responsibilities

Conceptualise and execute quantitative research, independently and collaboratively.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary international research team.
Publish results in international peer‑reviewed journals.
Participate in national and international scientific conferences and congresses.
Further develop AG 3 research agenda.
Support Working Group 3 in applying for funding.

Qualifications

Master’s degree (or comparable) in health or social sciences.
Proven experience with empirical quantitative research in health sciences/public health, social epidemiology, medical sociology, sociology, gender studies or a related area (e.g. theses or presentations).
Strong knowledge of quantitative methods (statistical procedures, modelling).
Proficient in quantitative analysis software (e.g. R, Stata).
Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Clear analytical thinking and the ability to familiarize oneself with new topics.
Ability to work independently, in a team and interdisciplinarily.
Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines in a demanding environment.
Willingness to work in an intercultural environment.
Knowledge of public health and sociological gender concepts.
Gender and diversity competence.

Preferred Experience and Skills

Excellent communication skills.
Good written and spoken German.
Experience in developing research questionnaires.
Publication experience or conference contributions.
