Research Scientist for Human-Aware AI

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research in the area of AI for Social Intelligence
• Publishing your results on top-tier research venues, such as ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, ICML, etc.
• Write clean code that is well-documented and follows modern software engineering practices (e.g., CI CD flows, versioning with git, etc.)
• Contribute how your research output can lead to a business impact for our applied projects and extract new research projects from ongoing applied projects

Required Skills and Experience

• Ph.D. in ComputerScience, AI or a related field.
• Proven publication record: at least 4 papers as 1st author on top-tier research conferences (e.g., ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, etc.)
• Proven experience with modern deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
• Experience with GenAI libraries such as OpenAI API, Pydantic, LangGraph etc.
• Solid programming skills (Python), knowledge of version control (Git), familiarity with MLOps, Docker, CI/CD tools is a plus.
• Experience communicating with non-technical stakeholders with strong communication skills to present complex technical concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary work.
• Experience with GenAI coding agents, such as Cursor, OpenAI Codex or similar.
