Responsibilities
West Virginia State Parks is seeking enthusiastic Restaurant Servers who ensure a positive and memorable dining experience by providing the highest level of customer service and hospitality. As a server you will act as the primary point of contact for guests and will be responsible for the following:
- Greet guests, escort them to tables, present menus, and answer any questions about the food and drinks.
- Accurately take food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Deliver food and beverages to the table and check in with customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Prepare tables for new guests, and clear away finished plates and other items as the meal progresses.
- Present guest bill and process payment transactions, including cash, credit cards, and room charges.
- Lead Server duties (when applicable): lead and supervise other servers, coordinate floor operations, manage table assignments, handle customer concerns, and assist with training new staff.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
- Employees must be willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Restaurant Server: $7.00 – $8.00 per hour plus tips
- Lead Server: $8.00 – $9.00 per hour plus tips
