RF / Microwave Design Engineers (m/f)

• System-architecture and system-design of electronic products
• Radiofrequency, microwave, wireless and antenna design
• PCB based hardware development
• Embedded software design
• HMI and graphics and multimedia systems
• Digital ASICs and FPGAs
• Analog-, Mixed-Signal And RF ASICs

Your challenge:

• Work independently or lead an engineering team to meet project schedules
• Design and evaluate components and lay-out design using available design and layout tools
• Full technical design and development responsibility for microwave developments
• Interface with customers, Business Development engineers, Product management, internal design staff, and other team members to actively support quality and customer satisfaction

Your ideal profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or higher education with a major in RF/Microwave focus
• Minimum of 5 years of designing passive (lumped and distributed elements) and active RF circuits containing mixers, switches, RF amplifiers, oscillators, detectors and other required building blocks
• Experiences in designing active/passive RF components, sub-systems, and integrated microwave assemblies using chip and wire, PWB, SMT, as well as advanced packaging techniques (bond wire, flip-chip)
• Practical microwave design experience and test of RF/Microwave components or subsystems in RF, Microwave and Millimeter Wave (up to 70 GHz preferred)
• Experience using advance design tools required: 3D electromagnetic simulation- Ansoft HFSS or equivalent, Linear and non-linear design- Ansoft Designer or equivalent, CAD Software-AutoCad or equivalent, Matlab and/or Excel
• Ability to guide a given project through the entire product development process
• Fluent skills in German and English verbal and written
• Self-motivated and self-organized
• Team player and excellent communication skills
