Shift: 12 Hours - Night Shifts

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The RN collaborates with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care, while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and using appropriate age and population‑specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting. The RN provides care in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up as patients move along the continuum of care. Responsibilities also include planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions, functioning within the scope and standards of nursing practice outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.

Qualifications

At least six months of travel nursing experience.
Paid weekly; stipend included in the weekly pay rate.
Contracts are 14 weeks with the option to extend or transition to another Sanford site.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing practice is occurring; or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
