Robotics Software Engineer for N3XT Department (m/f/d)
Join to apply for the Robotics Software Engineer for N3XT Department (m/f/d) role at Quantum Systems.
We are building the next generation of fully autonomous air defense. Your work will power an interceptor designed for unprecedented performance under hard real‑time constraints.
- 300 km/h top speed interceptor, rocket‑boosted.
- 10kW all‑electric peak power delivery. Custom ESCs switch a peak of 200 A for extreme maneuvering.
- Hard real‑time platform with an 8 kHz inner control loop frequency. Low‑level flight control is managed by a deterministic STM32.
- Built upon ROS2, Rust, and C++ for guaranteed performance and safety.
- Target acquisition and tracking via a proprietary ground radar system. Direct integration with our Mosaic Ground Control Station for strategic decision‑making.
- Modular seeker head utilizing Thermal, Radar, RGB, and Audio for comprehensive perception.
- Dedicated Qualcomm chip manages AI inference with an ultra‑low 3 ms latency.
- Jamming‑resistant video and telemetry links providing up to 60 km range.
The Team
We operate with the agility and high degree of ownership of a tech startup, backed by the resources of a growing defense‑tech company. Speed is the most important metric that counts.
About Us
Quantum Systems specializes in the development, design, and production of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS). The company's range of electric vertical take‑off and landing (eVTOL) sUAS are built to maximize range and versatility and to provide operators with a seamless user experience. By integrating cutting‑edge software capabilities, like edge computing and real‑time AI‑powered data processing, Quantum Systems is building next‑generation UAS for clients in the defense, security, and public sectors.
