What You’ll Be Doing

Develop, maintain, and optimize Roku applications using BrightScript and SceneGraph.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging, high-quality streaming experiences.
Integrate RESTful APIs, analytics SDKs, and streaming services to enhance functionality.
Ensure smooth performance across devices, adhering to security and accessibility standards.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in development processes.
Support release management, debugging, and CI/CD automation for production deployments.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience developing and releasing Roku/CTV applications in BrightScript.
Strong understanding of SceneGraph, Roku’s development tools, and publishing workflows.
Experience with streaming media integration, API communication, and user interface design for TV platforms.
Familiarity with Git, Agile delivery, and collaborative remote work environments.
A proactive problem-solver who values clean code, teamwork, and great user experiences.

Bonus: experience with other smart TV platforms (FireTV, Apple TV, AndroidTV) or front-end frameworks such as React or React Native.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Europe or regions with compatible time zones. To ensure effective collaboration with our client and team, candidates must maintain a 6-hour overlap with Eastern U.S. business hours.
