S-179: Embedded Technical Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Ensuring continuous liaison between the NSB and the Section.
  • Anticipating and alerting the NSPA embedded Senior Technician at NCISG for any issues of concern and remedial actions required.
  • Liaising on a regular basis with the Section located at Capellen for all actions related to NSB requirements. If required, supporting remotely Section related tasks.
  • Advising and assisting the Chief of Cell/Section and/or other NSPA personnel, when visiting NSB.
  • Acting as the Section embedded staff within the NATO Signal Battalion (NSB) and providing support, advice, clarification, reporting and executing other necessary tasks concerning Capability Package (CP) 0A0149 current fleet and future Non-CIS assets deliveries, in close coordination with the Section objectives, activities and support role.
  • Coordinating the NSB Non-CIS assets yearly preventive maintenance plan in close coordination with the NSPA embedded Senior Technician at NCISG and in collaboration with the NSB, defining the requirements for preventive and corrective actions to ensure material remains in a deployable condition.

POST DETAILS

  • Basic monthly salary: EUR 5 818.38, tax free.
  • This post is deployable. The incumbent may be required to deploy or may be assigned to a remote location, to perform duties (inside or outside a theatre/deployment location) in support of Council approved operations/missions or in support of national or multinational operations/missions authorised by the Agency Supervisory Board of NSPO.

NSPA staff members of the same grade can submit a transfer request until 02 November 2025.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Qualified redundant NATO civilian candidates of the same grade will be considered in priority.

Interviews are expected to be held approximately six weeks after the application closing date. The Talent Acquisition and Development Office shall let you know in due course the outcome of the screening process.

Moreover, due to the broad interest in NSPA and the large number of potential candidates, telephone or email enquiries cannot be dealt with.

The Agency would appreciate it if addressee countries could provide their support by submitting candidates whose security clearance can be effected (or confirmed) rapidly and who could report for duty as soon as possible after selection.
