Are you business-driven, creative, pragmatic and love to work with people on a daily basis? This job is for you! We are looking for a new Sales and Business Development Specialist. You will have the opportunity to work with world-leading companies as part of our team.

We are seeking a Sales and Business Development Specialist to support the full sales process and collaborate closely with our DACH sales team. This role is integral to the Sales and Business Development team and contributes to the execution of our current go-to-market strategies. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end business development process — from the first point of contact, meeting preparation, and information gathering, to proposal development and contract negotiation, all under the guidance of the Chief Operation Officer.

  • 1+ year of experience in the IT industry or software development environment, preferably in the DACH region
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
  • An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
  • Written and oral communication skills for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
  • Self-driven and well-organized, with the ability to work independently while contributing actively within a collaborative team environment
  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
  • Good listening skills, proactive, persuasive, and communicative, with a "hands-on" mentality
  • Autonomous with the ability to manage priorities, but also a team player, focusing on the company’s interests
  • Proficient in conducting thorough desktop research, analyzing data, and maintaining accurate records through data entry
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets

Responsibilities:

  • Generating leads and cold calling prospective customers
  • Focusing on acquiring new customers
  • Building reliable business relationships with decision-makers of potential customers
  • Fostering and developing relationships with customers/clients
  • Meeting with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone
  • Maintaining customer relationships, especially with key decision-makers
  • Analyzing and reporting business activities
  • Understanding customer needs and responding effectively with strategic plans
  • Thinking strategically to see the bigger picture and setting aims to develop and improve the business
  • Planning operational changes to implement strategies
