Position Description

As a Sales Development & Account Executive (DACH), you will own the full outbound sales process, from defining ICPs, prospecting, and generating leads to conducting demos, preparing proposals, and closing new business.

You will work closely with the CEO, Marketing, and Professional Services to identify opportunities and strengthen INPLAN’s presence in the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and qualify new customers across the DACH region
  • Build and maintain a scalable outbound pipeline
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and ICP definition
  • Develop and execute targeted outbound campaigns
  • Lead product demos and customer presentations
  • Prepare proposals and manage commercial negotiations
  • Use modern sales tools (CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI tools)
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and track key sales KPIs
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and messaging
  • Coordinate with Professional Services for seamless handover of new clients

Requirements

  • Fluent, native‑level German (written and spoken)
  • Strong English skills for internal communication
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (software/SaaS preferred)
  • Experience in a hybrid SDR/AE role or similar environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and LinkedIn‑based outreach
  • Structured, analytical, KPI‑driven working style
  • High level of ownership, proactivity, and independence
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region when needed

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics, procurement, port/terminal, or industrial sectors
  • Experience developing sales playbooks, ICP models, or outbound sequences
  • Basic familiarity with SEO/SEA or marketing automation
  • Experience using AI‑supported sales tools
