Sales Development Representative (m/f/d) – Lead Development
As the first point of contact for small and medium-sized businesses, you will connect with decision-makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn, spark interest, and create new business opportunities in a dynamic B2B environment.
What Youll Be Doing
- Reaching out to potential customers and partners via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate interest and uncover new opportunities
- Identifying, qualifying, and converting leads by assessing customer needs, buying triggers, and purchase readiness
- Conducting targeted research on SMEs, including company profiles, key decision-makers, technical requirements, and product fit
- Using your product and digital solutions knowledge to clearly communicate value propositions and tailor messaging to small businesses
- Building and managing a strong sales pipeline through proactive outbound activities, acquisition campaigns, and win-back initiatives
- Closing smaller sales opportunities independently and ensuring smooth handover of larger opportunities to the sales team
- Maintaining excellent CRM discipline, accurately documenting all customer interactions, opportunity stages, and follow-ups in systems such as Salesforce
What You Bring
- Speak German fluently (minimum C1) and have good English skills (minimum B2)
- Work independently, stay organized, and manage your time and priorities effectively
- Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset and a confident, professional tone
- Enjoy sales and know how to combine persuasion with empathy and respect
- Feel comfortable presenting products and solutions in a clear, needs-based way
- Have experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft)
- Motivated to learn, grow, and continuously develop your skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B customer service or sales, ideally with small and medium-sized businesses
- Exposure to SaaS, cloud solutions, or helpdesk tools
