The team

What you’ll do

The Sales Development Team Manager will possess the ability to manage & motivate a team of Sales Development Representatives to achieve individual opportunity generation quotas. They also must be able to measure, monitor and hold SDRs accountable for their activities and results as well as lead by example.

The Team manager will work directly with SDRs to improve cold calling, qualification and discovery calls, prospecting sequences, appointment setting, follow up, organization, and overall prospecting effectiveness. They must also effectively present Docusign's corporate overview and value proposition. This Team manager will mentor each SDR individually while also building a strong, cohesive, collaborative team that is responsible for supplying qualified leads to Docusign Account Executives.

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employees divide their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 3 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Responsibility

  • Supporting team of new SDRs and engaging other corporate resources as required
  • Ongoing coaching, mentoring, development, and training new SDRs on DocuSign's sales process during their first 4 months
  • Collaboration with the Market Development Managers to produce successful, strategic outbound campaigns
  • Work with the Field marketing team to drive attendance to events that will generate revenue
  • Responsibility for development and reinforcement of prospecting strategies and campaigns to drive recurring business
  • Motivating SDRs through recognition, goal setting, competition, and reinforcing a culture of collaboration and success
  • Exceeding team's monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota

What you will bring

Basic

  • BA/BS in a business or a technical related field of study from an accredited college or university
  • Deep knowledge of Outreach, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and other sales productivity/effectiveness tools
  • Experience successfully mentoring and training new Sales or Market Development Representatives
  • Fluency in German and English

  • Strong operational rigor and time management skills

  • Strategic account planning and execution skills
