Hamburg Area, Hybrid. Central & Eastern Europe Responsibility DESMI GmbH. Travel 50-70 days/year.

Are you passionate about technical sales, lifecycle value, and marine systems? Do you enjoy building long‑term customer partnerships rather than just closing one‑off deals? At DESMI, we are looking for a Sales Manager – After Sales to drive growth in spare parts, service agreements, upgrades, and retrofit solutions across Central and Eastern Europe. This is a high‑impact role with strong commercial ownership and close collaboration with our global Marine organization.

A glimpse into the role

As a Sales Manager for our After Sales Business, your role mainly revolves around:

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve and exceed after‑sales revenue and margin targets
  • Conduct customer visits focused on lifecycle value and cost optimization
  • Negotiate spare parts packages
  • Support global key account initiatives

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Identify and qualify fleet‑wide service opportunities
  • Maintain structured and accurate CRM data
  • Ensure reliable forecasting of after‑sales revenue

Customer & Market Development

  • Build long‑term partnerships in the marine sector
  • Implement framework agreements across fleets
  • Represent DESMI at exhibitions and customer events

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Service, Engineering, Order Management & Sales Support
  • Ensure smooth execution of spare parts and service deliveries
  • Contribute to product feedback and continuous improvement

We Imagine That You

  • Hold a degree in Engineering or Marine related field
  • Have2–3+ years of experience in technical sales or after‑sales, preferably within the marine and/or industrial segments.
  • Have a solid technical understanding of pumps, mechanical systems, and maintenance concepts
  • Have strong negotiation and solution selling skills
  • Are structured, self‑driven and have a customer focused personality
  • Are comfortable working across regions and departments
