Sales Germany North with locations in Hamburg and Husum is part of the Sales Central team within Vestas Northern and Central Europe (NCE) – the largest business unit of Vestas Wind Systems A/S, the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturer.

The Sales Central team consists of a diverse and highly qualified group of sales professionals, including Sales Managers and Commercial Engineers, working closely with stakeholders from various functional areas. The team is responsible for sales activities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, ensuring consistent alignment and excellence in execution.

As the German onshore wind market is expected to grow strongly in the coming years, Sales Central is setting the course to prepare our organization, customers, and the market for this significant transformation.

Aufgaben

  • Ensuring the achievement and exceeding of annual sales volume targets by leading and supporting colleagues throughout the sales cycle.
  • Identifying business opportunities, handling tenders, optimizing offers, and negotiating and closing contracts.
  • Maintaining close customer relationships through trust-building, understanding customer business models, and providing tailored value propositions that meet their needs.
  • Acting as a central coordination hub to promote communication and alignment among internal and external stakeholders to develop robust business cases.
  • Monitoring market trends, customer activities, and competitor strategies and passing relevant insights to Sales Managers and team members to drive overall performance.
  • Continuously contributing to the development and refinement of Vestas’ commercial strategy to foster sustainable growth and market leadership.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in sales, commercial sales, or business development, preferably in renewable energy or other project-based industries.
  • Experience negotiating complex technical contracts and a solid understanding of contract terms.
  • Ability to identify and engage relevant business stakeholders to promote collaboration and positive outcomes.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

  • Strong goal orientation and the ability to remain productive under volatile and changing conditions.
  • Persuasive presence and excellent communication skills to foster effective collaboration.
  • Strength in building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment and productive collaboration.
  • Good financial understanding and analytical skills to evaluate and investigate business opportunities.
  • Resilience in time-critical situations and high self-motivation to achieve milestones.

Zusätzliche Informationen

The primary workplace for this position is our office in Hamburg or Husum, Germany. Up to 30 travel days per year may be required. The application deadline is 3 May 2026.
