We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager Institutional Clients professional to join a leading international asset manager . In this role, you will focus on developing and strengthening relationships with institutional and semi-institutional investors in Germany. You will be responsible for positioning a broad range of investment solutions across public markets (equity, fixed income, multi asset) and private markets (private equity, private debt, infrastructure, real estate) .

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key institutional clients such as pension funds, insurers, corporates, foundations and fund buyers such as fund of funds
  • Drive business development by identifying new leads, managing RFPs, and delivering high-quality client presentations
  • Collaborate with investment and product teams to effectively position strategies in the market
  • Ensure excellent client servicing to retain and grow assets under management
  • Contribute ideas for new products and solutions tailored to the German market

Your Profile

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or a related field; CFA/CAIA is a plus
  • Ideally 10+ years of relevant experience in institutional sales, distribution or fundraising
  • Proven track record in managing and expanding institutional client relationships in Germany
  • Deep understanding of capital markets and investment solutions across asset classes
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior-level clients
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and motivated to contribute to the sustainable growth of the business
