Sales Manager, Pulp & Paper Automation – Valmet

Ready to unlock resource efficiency among Pulp & Paper customers in the German area? We are looking for a Sales Manager to further strengthen our position in the Pulp & Paper Automation German market area.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for sales of Valmet Automation Solutions to our Pulp & Paper customers mainly in East and Central Germany. The solution portfolio includes Valmet DNAe Automation (DCS), Quality Management systems (QCS, Machine Vision, profilers), Analyzers & Measurements, and Optimisation applications.

Your Responsibilities

• Leading and being accountable for sales in the defined area and solutions, mainly in East and Central Germany.
• Managing sales cases from development through contract signature, including preparation of technical and commercial quotations and delivery contracts.
• Maintaining and expanding customer relationships and managing customer satisfaction.
• Travelling up to 50% of working time.
• Collaboration between Sales colleagues, Solution Managers, and Service teams in Germany and Finland.

Who Is The Candidate We Are Looking For

• Experience in Process Automation or Sales is required.
• Customer focused approach with solid sales and negotiating skills.
• Experience in the Pulp and/or Paper industry and processes is a plus.
• Proactive ownership and accountability in driving customer success.
• Knowledge of Valmet Automation Solutions and/or automation solutions in the Pulp & Paper industry is an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel and actively visit customers is required.
• Fluent in German and English (mandatory). Additional languages are a plus.
