Sales Manager (Wind, Onshore)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our organization. As a Sales Manager, your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with clients, and effectively promoting our renewable energy solutions in Eastern Europe. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional sales acumen, and a deep understanding of the renewable industry locally.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in the onshore wind sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients, effectively articulating the value proposition of our wind solutions.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse sales data, and generate reports to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, budget recommendations, and market intelligence reports to senior management.
  • Stay updated on renewable energy policies, regulations, and incentives to leverage them in sales strategies and maximize business opportunities.

Qualification and expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in penetrating sales pipeline from 0-1 in Onshore Wind in various countries including Romania, Poland, recently.
  • In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, product solution and services.
  • In depth knowledge of wind ecosystem in strategic markets
  • Experience with project finance or financial close transactions preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Flexibility to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
