The role designed for you
Reporting to the Head of Subsidiary – Germany & Central Europe, you will lead the German & Central Europe Backselling team (Special Papers BU) while also managing a personal portfolio of End-Users across your assigned area. Based in Munich, you will play a key role in achieving company sales targets through both your direct commercial activities and the coordination of your team. You will partner with End-Users such as agencies, graphic designers and brands, supporting them in developing new projects using our specialty papers. Paper technical know‑how, customer sensitivity, creativity and strong project management skills are essential for this role. You will coach and guide your team to deliver high‑quality projects, strengthen Fedrigoni’s market presence and ensure alignment with the company’s commercial strategy.
Your Main Responsibilities
- You will lead, coach and support the German & Central Europe Backselling team, ensuring effective activity planning, performance monitoring and professional growth (4-6 direct reports)
- You will build strong relationships with End-Users such as agencies, graphic designers and brands, promoting Fedrigoni products, services and innovations (both personally and through your team)
- You will manage your own portfolio of End-Users: regular visits, needs definition and project development, identifying the most suitable paper solutions in connection with their needs
- You will guide and support your team in project management activities, prioritizing projects, defining must win battles as well as strategic opportunities, and ensuring project success in terms of quality, costs and timing
- You will cooperate with Sales colleagues to finalize sales through printers and converters, while maintaining a strong communication flow with Customer Support and Bespoke colleagues for proper project execution
- You will ensure high‑quality CRM data, monitoring team updates to guarantee accuracy and reliability
- You will identify and hunt new End-Users as potential new customers (both directly and through your team)
- You will monitor market trends, dynamics, risks and opportunities to further grow our footprint and to find new markets for our papers.
- You will closely cooperate with the local Marketing Department to drive and execute campaigns, events, workshops and customer activations
- You will be responsible for the Fedrigoni Studios in Cologne, Berlin, Munich and Prague
- You will closely collaborate with the Global Luxury Packaging team to leverage synergies and support strategic initiatives.
The Attitudes and Skills We’re Looking For
- You have a Degree in Graphic Arts, Design, Business, Marketing or similar fields
- You have 5+ years of experience in promotional/commercial roles, ideally within paper, packaging, graphic design, agencies or Luxury Fashion/Cosmetics brands
- You have experience in coordinating or managing a small commercial team
- You are creative, proactive, highly motivated and goal‑oriented
- You are passionate—or open to becoming passionate—about the world of Special Papers
- You have a strong commercial attitude and customer orientation, with a hands‑on approach
- You can work under pressure and manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and customer needs
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build long‑term relationships with customers
- You are fluent in German and English (Italian is considered a plus)
