Role responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end sales process – Drive revenue across biomolecule and advanced therapies product portfolio.
Responsible for lead generation and management including identification, initial qualification and development of leads.
Deliver hands-on demos and technical seminars that showcase our cutting-edge solutions.
Collaborate with product management, global sales team and marketing on campaigns, trade shows and webinars.
Represent Biotage at key industry events and work closely with our automation platform partners

Skills and experience

Bachelor’s degree within Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
Proven sales experience of instruments, consumables and software sales within Biopharma/Life Sciences.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
Expertise in plasmid, viral vector, antibody and protein purification. Knowledge of cell and gene therapy application areas, and mass spec sample prep would be advantageous.
Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
Knowledge of cell & gene therapy application areas, and mass spec sample prep an advantage
Proficient in the use of CRM (Salesforce)

This is a field-based role working at customer sites and in Biology laboratories (Field based 2 – 4 days)
