In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing detailed project scopes, analyzing material and labor costs, and supporting our bidding process with accurate and well-organized estimates.You’ll work closely with our design and sales teams, helping to break down project requirements, estimate expenses, and ensure competitive, profitable bids. This position offers the opportunity to work on machinery, components, and construction-related projects in a dynamic technical environment. ResponsibilitiesDevelop project scope of work documents for projects in biddingCost analysis of materials and labor estimates in an organized mannerProjects may be machinery and components or Construction relatedOutreach to known vendors for component and material costingTeam communication for determining project timeDevelop standardized costing and pricing tools in bidding RequirementsBasic experience with 3d modeling (Fusion or Solidworks)MUST HAVE a background in metalworking, forming, or machining.Excellent written English language skill preferredHigh level of competency in a related technical fieldTechnical competence to understand project drawings and specificationsAbility to collaborate with design and sales to breakdown project tasks and estimate expensesHigh level user skills in MS word and ExcelProficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu Independent Contractor PerksWith HMO Coverage for eligible locationsPermanent work from homeImmediate hiring Please note that since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection.
