For our partner company in the banking sector based in Hamburg, we are looking for a SAP ABAP Inhouse Developer (m / f / d) as part of a direct placement (permanent position with our client).

In this position, you will take on a central role in the SAP landscape of a major player in the Hamburg financial sector. You will combine your technical expertise in ABAP OO development with responsibility for smooth user support. You will also play an active role in shaping the future of IT systems by managing strategic projects and driving innovation.

Your tasks

• Ensuring the smooth operation of the SAP ABAP application through maintenance, troubleshooting and strategic development
• Assisting and supporting SAP users with technical challenges
• Providing technical support and contributing expertise to internal product development processes
• Coordination of updates and releases in coordination with internal teams and external service providers
• Taking on and managing cross-divisional IT projects and promoting innovations
• Planning and carrying out internal user training in the SAP environment

Your profile

• Knowledge of SAP ABAP development (ABAP OO)
• Experience in the maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of SAP applications
• Experience in SAP application support or user support
• Ideally experience in (partial) project management of IT projects
• Knowledge of release, update and transport management
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
