For a challenging transformation project with a renowned company in the chemical industry, we are seeking an experienced freelance Technical PP/DS Consultant (f/m/d) with a strong focus on ABAP OO development and test automation. Projektbeschreibung Implement automated tests for PP/DS transactions, such as the interactive planning board, using LeapworkAnalyze existing object-oriented and functional ABAP code in APOCreate new software designs using modern technologies like CDS-views to enable code pushdownRe-design software architecture using interfaces to ensure code reusability across different S/4 systemsImplement and refactor code in an object-oriented style using Eclipse ADS and SAP BAS FioriDevelop automated ABAP unit tests, aiming for a code coverage of approximately 80%Conduct code reviews using advanced code checks and profilersCreate technical and functional documentationManage and resolve incidents in English and German, routing them via Solman and Azure DevOpsCoach end-users during the go-live and hypercare phasesCreate a variety of test data, including plants, materials, BOMs, production versions, and transportation lanes Project Details Start Date: January 1, 2026Project Duration: 12 months (until December 31, 2026)Capacity: Full-time (approx. 8h/day, 20 days/month)Location: Nearshore (Remote)Travel: No travel required. Skills Profound knowledge of the SAP APO DP&S template and SAP S/4 PP/DS.Specific expertise with complex DP&S functionalities (e.g., Wedding Heuristic, Tank solution, dynamic setup, aggregated planning) is required.Proven experience in test automation with Leapwork.Advanced skills in ABAP OO, automated unit testing, debugging, and performance analysis.Familiarity with an agile way of working and tools such as GIT, ABAPGit, Markdown, and Confluence.Business fluent in both English and German.
