Location: Germany (Mannheim preferred)

Work Model: Hybrid – 80% Remote / 20% Onsite

Languages: Fluent in German and English

Duration: 6months to begin with

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Customer Service (CS) Consultant to support end-to-end service delivery within SAP CS / Service Management . The role involves leading solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live activities across core service processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Notifications and Service Orders
  • In-house and On-site Repairs
  • Service Contracts and Service Quotations
  • Installed Base / Equipment
  • Lead cross-module integration with:
  • FI/CO (Settlement, cost tracking, revenue recognition)
  • Ensure end-to-end process integrity, data consistency, and document flow
  • Prepare and maintain solution documentation, functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials
  • Conduct workshops, user training, and support business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Required Expertise

  • Strong hands-on expertise in SAP CS / Service Management
  • Ability to independently configure and support SAP CS solutions
  • Capability to read and understand ABAP code for troubleshooting and integration analysis
  • Solid knowledge of Master Data and Technical Objects (Equipment, Functional Locations, Installed Base)
  • Proven experience in repair and replacement processes , including:
  • Returns and refurbishment / scrap handling
  • Warranty coordination
  • Cost tracking and final invoicing
  • Integration experience across CS, SD, MM, LE, and FI/CO
  • Exposure to Plant Maintenance (PM) and CS–PM integration (nice to have)
  • Strong documentation skills and effective stakeholder management

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience working with SAP CS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead workshops and guide client stakeholders

Certifications (nice to have):

  • SAP CS / PM
  • SAP S/4HANA Service
  • SAP CX Service Cloud
