Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP DRC FI/CO Lead Consultant for our client in Munich, Germany. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in SAP FI & CO modules along with hands‑on experience in SAP Digital Reporting Compliance (DRC) for statutory and financial reporting.

The consultant will be responsible for leading DRC implementation, managing end‑to‑end FI/CO processes, coordinating with business stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with Germany‑specific reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP Digital Reporting Compliance (DRC) implementation and enhancements.
• Configure and support key SAP FI components: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting.
• Configure SAP CO modules: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, CO‑PA, and Product Costing.
• Ensure compliance with Germany statutory and tax reporting through DRC.
• Coordinate requirements for e‑invoicing, SAF‑T, VAT, Intrastat, and other mandatory reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (SD, MM, Logistics) for integrated FI/CO processes.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/development teams.
• Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and propose best‑fit solutions.
• Lead Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and provide post‑go‑live support.
• Serve as the primary FI/CO‑DRC advisor for business and IT stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of hands‑on SAP FI/CO experience.
• Mandatory experience in SAP Digital Reporting Compliance (DRC).
• Strong knowledge of Germany‑specific statutory financial reporting.
• Expertise in S/4HANA FI/CO configuration and integration.
• Excellent understanding of financial processes, month‑end/year‑end activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working onsite with clients in Germany (preferred).

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• SAP FI or CO certification.
• Experience with SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (eDocuments).
• Understanding of Europe‑wide compliance frameworks (Italy, Spain, Hungary, etc.).
