Overview

Our client, a leading company in the retail sector, is looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to strengthen their internal SAP team. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a clear focus on SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the SAP FICO landscape, ensuring smooth business operations across finance and controlling.
• Lead and participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation and optimisation projects.
• Analyse business requirements, design solutions, and configure SAP FICO modules accordingly.
• Provide expertise in areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
• Act as a key contact for finance stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Support end-users with training, issue resolution, and system improvements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and alignment with retail-specific processes.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with strong functional expertise.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (essential).
• Strong knowledge of core FICO processes (FI-GL, AP, AR, AA, CO).
• Retail industry experience is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in German (spoken and written) - essential.
