These are the tasks awaiting you

Active participation in an ongoing SAP HCM implementation project – e.g., in the collection, evaluation, and qualification of requirements; in testing, training, and go-live activities; as well as in the planning, management, and monitoring of project activities
You will actively support the design of the future operating model, including necessary interface functions with external service providers
Following the system implementation, you will take on tasks within the yet-to-be-defined interface between the City of Bochum and external service providers
Recording, evaluating, and validating future business and technical requirements
Analysis, optimization, and design of HR processes, taking into account functional and technical requirements
Continuous further development of the HR system
Support for future projects as well as the management and supervision of external service providers

These are your qualifications and skills

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences in computer science, business informatics, or economics
Alternatively, you have completed vocational training as an IT specialist, IT systems clerk, IT business clerk, or in another IT-related discipline, and have at least one year of professional experience in the field
As a civil servant, you also hold the qualification for career group 2, entry-level position 1 in the general administrative service
You have verifiable, multi-year practical professional experience in the SAP HCM field and, ideally, hold a recognized SAP HCM certification
You have already played a significant role in an SAP HCM implementation project, ideally in a municipal setting
An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, a high level of commitment and assertiveness, as well as strong communication skills
Goal-oriented and cost-effective thinking and action
