SAP PP – WFH Location – 5 to 7 Years

SAP PP Data Migration Consultant (SAP LSMW, SAP Data Services, IDOCs, BAPIs, Syniti) with 3-5 years relevant experience and exceptional business‑facing skills.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Actively participate in data mapping workshops with functional consultants, workstream leads and business SMEs
• Compile and document legacy → SAP data conversion rules
• Run existing migration routines in sequence to upload data and report success/error messages for mock and cutover schedules
• Support business with validation of data loads
• Work with SAP functional and technical consultants to analyse data migration requirements and the makeup of legacy data
• Design appropriate data migration solutions, including transformation routines where required
• Build, test, execute and manage data migrations using tools such as SAP LSMW or SAP Data Services
• Pre‑load and post‑load validate migration results, handle dropouts and advise on data cleansing requirements
• Perform migration dress rehearsals, cutover tasks and post‑go‑live support
• Provide advisory services to the business to understand their data management issues and recommend strategies
• Extensive experience in data management and migration activities within a SAP environment
• Strong experience designing and implementing SAP ETL solutions (SAP Data Services, SAP LSMW) and integration technologies (IDOCs, BAPIs)
• Experience using Syniti for mapping and transformation
• Create technical specification documents for data services jobs
• Support data cleansing activities using Excel, Data Services and SQL tools
• Wide experience across SAP ERP functional areas such as finance, sales, MM, PP
• Experience in data analysis and reconciliation, proving correctness and completeness of migration tasks
• Experience with cutover planning and preparation of data migration runbooks
• Good consulting skills; business‑facing consulting capability required
• Experience implementing an S/4/HANA multi‑tiered SAP environment
• Ability to work at least 4 hours per day during Eastern Standard Time working hours
• Must have experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
