SAP Project Manager (m/f/d)

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced SAP Project Manager to join a growing consultancy delivering large-scale SAP transformation programmes across Germany. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex S/4HANA transformation projects, working at the forefront of digital innovation. You will play a key role in shaping client landscapes, driving end-to-end SAP implementations, and working with modern technologies including cloud platforms, AI-driven solutions, and advanced analytics. You will operate in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment, using both traditional and agile methodologies to deliver high-impact SAP programmes.

Location: Hamburg or Münster, Germany

Working pattern: Hybrid / Partly remote

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP implementation and transformation projects across the full lifecycle (planning through to go-live and support)
• Apply project management methodologies including SAP Activate, Agile (SCRUM), and traditional delivery models depending on project needs
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource planning, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality targets
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including functional consultants, developers, and external stakeholders
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the lifecycle
• Drive S/4HANA transformation initiatives, including system conversions, new implementations, and cloud migrations
• Lead workshops, steer decision-making, and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions
• Support innovation topics such as SAP BTP, AI, automation, and data-driven transformation strategies
• Ensure governance, reporting, and documentation standards are maintained across all project phases

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager within complex SAP environments
• Strong familiarity with both traditional and agile project management methodologies (e.g. SAP Activate, SCRUM, classic delivery models)
• Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA transformation projects (implementation, migration, or rollout)
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively across multiple workstreamsStructured, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience working in consulting environments or with external clients is advantageous
• SAP certification (e.g. SAP Activate Project Manager) is a plus
• Fluent German is essential
