SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant (Senior)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant or Senior Consultant to join an expanding consulting practice in Germany. In this role you will advise and guide clients through design, implementation, optimisation and support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC). You will work closely with HR, IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant and business‑aligned HR technology solutions.
This is a fully remote role within Germany, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on best‑practice HR processes and SAP SuccessFactors EC capabilities.
- Conduct workshops to gather requirements, translate them into functional system designs, and present solution options.
- Provide strategic guidance on HR transformation topics, digital HR roadmaps, and system architecture.
Implementation & Configuration
- Configure and implement Employee Central modules, including foundations, workflows, business rules, data models and integrations.
- Support full project life cycles from discovery to go‑live and hyper‑care.
- Collaborate with technical teams to manage integrations, data migration and system testing.
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Manage client expectations, timelines and deliverables.
- Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting and optimisation recommendations.
- Prepare documentation, training materials and knowledge transfer sessions.
Internal Contribution
- Support presales activities such as scoping, estimations and demo preparation.
- Mentor junior consultants (for senior consultants).
- Contribute to internal knowledge development and best‑practice frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central in consulting or in‑house roles.
- Strong understanding of HR processes (Personnel Administration, Organisation Management, Data Management, Workflows).
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration and testing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise, challenge and guide clients.
- Fluent in professional German and English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote‑first consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- SuccessFactors certification(s) (EC or additional modules).
- Experience in at least one of the following: EC Time Off, EC Time Sheet, Position Management.
- Prior experience in a consulting firm or client‑facing delivery role.
- Experience with HR transformation or HR process optimisation projects.
