About the role

As a School Crossing Supervisor, you will assist students and families to travel safely to and from school at selected intersections, pedestrian light crossings and flagged crossings across the city.

Crossings operate Monday to Friday during school terms between 8:00‑9:00 am and 3:00‑4:00 pm.

Skills and experience required

• Available to work Monday to Friday, short shifts 8:00‑9:00 am and 3:00‑4:00 pm during school terms.
• Medically fit to perform duties.
• Willing to work at different Merri‑bek sites as needed.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication skills.
• Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.
• Enjoy engaging with children and families.
• Able to use a mobile phone or willing to learn.
