A full-time, on-site School Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Smyrna, DE, serving school-aged students through therapy services, evaluations, and IEP support. This role requires an active Delaware licensure/certification and a commitment to working Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week during the 2026/2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized speech therapy services to students with communication needs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student requirements
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings to collaborate on student progress
  • Collect and document progress monitoring data
  • Complete thorough therapy session notes documenting interventions and outcomes
  • Utilize systems such as Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP for documentation and reporting

Qualifications And Experience

  • Active Delaware licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations and writing IEPs
  • Ability to manage caseload and document progress accurately
  • Reliable transportation and commitment to on-site presence
  • Must not be a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), as this role requires a certified SLP

Location: This assignment is based in Smyrna, Delaware, at a school setting, offering a contract position with an established district.
