DESY

The DESY theory group pursues a vigorous research programme in the investigation of the fundamental interactions of nature and the fabric of matter, space and time. Research topics include collider phenomenology, particle cosmology, mathematical physics and string theory. DESY Hamburg is seeking for one Junior Scientist in Theoretical Particle Physics. The position is limited to 5 years and applications will be reviewed starting on 10 December.

About your role:

• Research on particle physics phenomenology, physics of the early universe and cosmology at an internationally competitive level
• Participation in the research activities of the DESY theory group

About you:

• PhD in physics
• Excellent research record and international reputation in the area of particle physics phenomenology, physics of the early universe and cosmology
• Team ability and very good English language skills
