We are seeking a highly motivated and technically savvy Scrum Master to drive agile practices across our Infrastructure and Network Engineering teams. This role is responsible for enabling team agility, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within teams focused on networking, compute, storage, and cloud infrastructure services. Ideal candidates will bring strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, hands‑on familiarity with agile delivery in engineering‑heavy environments, and a passion for operational excellence.

Scope of Services / Deliverables

Key Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation & Coaching

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Serve as servant leader and agile coach for 12 scrum teams focused on infrastructure automation and modernization.
• Drive adoption of Agile/Scrum best practices tailored to the infrastructure domain, ensuring consistency across hybrid (hardware/software) environments.

Program Delivery & Execution Support

• Partner with network engineers, architects, automation teams, and TPMs to ensure technical clarity and alignment of sprint goals.
• Support the delivery of key initiatives such as network transformation, hardware lifecycle management, IaC automation, and cloud connectivity projects.
• Coordinate execution across Jira boards and GitHub Projects to maintain transparency, ownership, and cross‑team accountability.

Risk, Dependency, and Impediment Management

• Identify and manage cross‑team and system‑level dependencies especially involving hardware provisioning, access controls, or vendor escalations.
• Proactively resolve impediments to protect the teams sprint commitment and velocity.

Metrics and Continuous Improvement

• Leverage Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput, lead time) using tools such as Jira dashboards and GitHub Projects insights to assess team health and identify bottlenecks.
• Lead sprint retrospectives with a focus on actionable follow‑up and continuous improvement loops.

Skills

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with at least 2 years supporting infrastructure or network engineering teams.
• Strong working knowledge of infrastructure and platform technologies including:

• Networking (routing, switching, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls)
• Cloud IaaS and virtualization (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware)
• Infrastructure as Code and automation (Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions, scripting with Python/Bash)

• Experience operating within GitHub Projects and Jira to manage workflows, backlogs, epics, and milestones.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent certification.
• Deep experience with agile frameworks and hybrid delivery models (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Networking, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Prior experience supporting Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) or Network Automation teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps culture, and Agile portfolio management.
