HII Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a skilled Security Specialist to support the Air Force Cognizant Security Authority (CSA) in advancing National Security Objectives aligned with Air Force interests. This role provides day-to-day support for Collateral and, as directed, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities through integrated and proactive security operations. Under the guidance of a government security administrator, this person will deliver multidisciplinary security support across information, personnel, operations, industrial, communications, and anti-terrorism/force protection domains. The team aims to provide cross-domain ISR capabilities that increase indications and warnings, enhance security posture, and support partners globally.

What You Will Do
- Provide technical advice and security support to multiple collateral programs and, where specifically called for, SCI programs within the Directorate.
- Assist in the development and writing of operations security (OPSEC) plans, transition plans, emergency action plans, transportation plans and any other security documents as needed for the customer.
- Review program documentation for public release, to include ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) has proper markings, classifications and distribution statements per DOD and AF guidance and provide accurate feedback to IP Leads about document disposition ability.
- Provide classification guidance and assistance for all collateral and SCI (where needed) programs.
- Understand counterintelligence threats and trends to help advise unit and program assigned personnel.
- Assist with development of Security Classification Guides (SCG), Program Protection Plans, Security Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other key security documents as directed by the IP Lead.
- Provide classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Prepare, process, and distribute inbound/outbound classified mail that is integrated with a singular government accountable mailing program.
- Assist with preparing classified packages, courier forms and maintain receipt records of such dispatches.
- Provide reproduction support for classified materials both hard copy and electronic.
- Review, track, and monitor security clearance via DISS to ensure compliance with applicable personnel security standards and to ensure all personnel are properly accounted for.
- Ensure personnel security clearances are kept current and access is verified prior to allowing access to classified material. Identify any missing SF-312/Non-Disclosure Agreements and alert IP Lead of missing annotations as required.
- Prepare, process, and/or review Visitor Certification Requests for accuracy and access eligibility. Ensure timely and accurate visitor certifications are received by receiving units.
- Assist with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices.
- Assist IP Lead with inspection preparations and MICT artifact creation as directed.
- Conduct effective entry and exit inspections along with any other random anti-terrorism measures as directed by unit, installation or higher level anti-terrorism authority.
- Assist in maintaining facility access control, including visitor control/escorting and access badge creation, issuing and tracking.
- Enter data into the Security System database and follow customer SOPs or Operating Instructions (OI).
What We Are Looking For
- 10 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 8 years with a Master's; or 14 years with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a current TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience with security systems, including alarm monitoring, electronic access control, and CCTV.
- High familiarity with DISS.
- Proficient knowledge of the DD254 process.
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
